Pathology

Pathology is a branch of medicine that means the science of disease. It diagnoses diseases that occur in tissues and cells using special tests.

Samples (cells/cells/organs) taken from patients for screening or diagnostic purposes are examined in our pathology department and the results are reported as soon as possible. In our department, pathological diagnostic studies related to all system and tissue diseases are carried out, and in addition to routine examinations, histochemical and immunohistochemical examinations can be performed when necessary. In addition, intraoperative pathology consultation (frozen section) can be performed for rapid diagnosis during surgery.
